This week we will be starting our regular vocabulary and beginning our first formal paper-a personal narrative. The rubric is posted to the right, but make sure you write in third person, and include all the parts as listed in that document. This week's journals are:

8/21 If you were ruler of the world, and could do anything you wanted, would be good and kind or mean and greedy? Please don't forget to write a 1/2 page, with an outline

8/22 Do you think boys or girls have it easier?

8/23 If your mom promised to be home at 2:00 but did not get home until dinnertime and didn't call, what would be a good punishment for her? Do you think punishing her would make her on time in the future?

8/24 If all your best friends were willing to be absolutely honest with you and tell you exactly what they liked and did not like about you, would you want them to tell you?

8/25 Would you rather have a teacher who was strict, but fair and taught well, or one who was relaxed and fun, but didn't teach very well?
